Brushed-up aesthetics of the 1960s takes on an unexpected turn in Alex Prager’s photographs: beauty will save the world, but who’ll save beauty? A fire transforms it into dust, and a wave drags it into the abyss. The manmade is powerless in the face of the approaching catastrophe, and man should maintain harmony with nature. This exhibition comprises Alex Prager’s key photo series and screenings of four films by Wes Anderson (narrated by Gary Oldman).© 2016-2020 moscovery.com
