The opening of the International Dance Festival is to launch a choreographic marathon comprising seven contemporary stage productions by international directors. Festival works will be presented on four stages. On the programme are dance productions staged in different styles and featuring various elements, from hip-hop to martial arts. The premiere stage production, Linnaeus Haponen, combines circus, theatre and tango elements.
