The unknown Munk is on display in Moscow, or rather, his landscapes and self-portraits, photographs and personal effects. Among the highlights of this major Moscow exhibition is the original version of his celebrated The Scream. Munch himself considered this colour pencil drawing a rough copy and, on its back, he did his another famous painting, Vampire. On display at the Tretyakov Gallery are 70 paintings by Edvard Munch, an all-time record in Moscow.© 2016-2020 moscovery.com
