In 2010, the Federal Protective Service of Russia lifted the ban on amateur photo and video shoots throughout the Moscow Kremlin. Authorization is necessary for commercial photography and filming by submitting an official permission request to the FSO of Russia.
Visitors are prohibited from taking photographs during security checks.
