First “jazz country estates” held in the sumptuous Archangelskoye Country Estate were not as flashy as they are today. Initially a three-scene house concert, the project has gradually grown into a large-scale fest bringing together lounge and funk, acid jazz and blues fans. This year, 40,000 participants are expected to attend Russia’s biggest open-air event. The 16th international music festival will also raise funds in support of young talents.
