By tradition, the annual Russia Day Concert bringing together all major Russian singers on Red Square next to the Kremlin starts at 5:30p and ends with fireworks illuminating the night sky. This concert has been gaining in popularity from year to year, and now some 30,000 spectators come together on Red Square to enjoy performances by top-ranking Russian singers. Various venues throughout Moscow will also hold numerous concerts and exhibitions, festivals and parades.
